Ivan A. Taslimson, (/'tæzlimsɚn/; né Taslim) is a scientist, architect, and entrepreneur. Founder of SolsticeX in 1997 (reorganized into Solstice Group), former President and Chairman of Solstice Group, a technology group with ventures behind many inventions for Fortune 500 companies including: Microsoft, Yahoo, Samsung, to name a few. Born a child prodigy, he created his first design of the renown "real estate on the moon" with artificial genetic vegetation, advanced engineering, irrigation, transportation and atmospheric life support systems, at age 11. He started his company in college, at his apartment, and during FY 2007-2008, his fortune was valued at US$ 1.26 billion, although it has since shrunk considerably during 2008-09 global financial crisis and corporate takeover.
